Captain Jonathan Statham and the Liberty Engine
About
The year is 1778, and the American Revolution has escaped all reasonable control.
The Continental Army commands resurrected soldiers, mechanical warships and weapons centuries ahead of their time. Behind it all lies the Liberty Engine, a machine that has transformed a colonial rebellion into a threat to the British Empire itself.
Captain Jonathan Statham wants nothing to do with the war. Retired to the English countryside, he cares little for the Crown, the colonies or the course of history.
Until American commandos raid his home and kidnap his dog.
Armed with a cutlass, a Brown Bess musket and a complete disregard for military authority, Jonathan sets out across the Atlantic. His pursuit will carry him through besieged cities, mechanized armies and the most dangerous men of the Revolution.
Jonathan is not fighting for king or country.
He just wants his dog back.
And America is in his way.
Captain Jonathan Statham and the Liberty Engine is a brutally absurd alternate-history adventure filled with relentless action, deadpan comedy and eighteenth-century warfare gone completely insane.
